SIMPLY ME
Hi there! I’m Anaëlle a student of 16 years old. In everyday life, I’m just a youngster trying to find myself in a world lead by stupidity, where intelligence is ignored and where education is on the verge of dying. I’m really interested to see how this goes…
I’m the kind of girl that can be perceived as quiet and calm but in fact I’m a listener and an observer who can surprise you at any time. Besides, I also have a sense of duty and of gratitude towards my surroundings. According to me, we need to be inculcated with the values of life and we need to keep the light of our culture burning since our early years or else we won’t be able to define ourselves in the future.
Nowadays, our little home, the Chinatown that was known to be lively and bringing a sense of community is dwindling because of our own actions. So what to do? Have you ever thought about it? Let me reveal to you my views and I hope that we can come across several agreements to make a positive change among ourselves and the stereotype society…
We can’t change the past but we can build our future through simple steps of solidarity, belief, commitment, sacrifices and last but not least to always think out of the box. We always need to look forward and to identify our priorities or else we’ll always lack behind and no progress will be made. As I’ve been told by Jean-Paul Lam, “Every day, just a little bit. Every week, just a little more. Every month, just a little longer. Every year, just one more game to go. Always, ask for more and never give in.”
Each individual can make a change but, the only difference from the ones who succeed is that they devote body and soul for their mission every day. So, why can’t you do the same? If you want, you can. Act now because tomorrow never comes!
